For this project (2017), I chose to illustrate Ludovico Einaudi's album Elements. 

The album is inspired by the constituent elements of our world, but also by individual life. The songs are based on the myths of creation, the periodic table, Kandinsky's writings, sounds, colors, relief forms. In other words, it investigates our connections with everything we interact with. 

Among the methods on the album are: Petricor, Night, Drop, Four dimensions, Elements, Whirling Winds, Twice, Numbers, Logos. 

For the first category of illustrations (2-9), I let myself be carried away by the music, ignoring the subject of the album. I only drew what the sounds dictated to me. 

In the following illustrations (10-15) I took into account what the composer wanted to express through each piece and, again using music, I drew the subjects he evoked. 

I also did some exercises in which I stopped the music and drew only the subject, and in the last two illustrations I tried to deal with the scientific part of the songs (I tried to transpose fragments from the songs into music sheets).
